Andrew is an established expert on issues related to policing and justice, with experience that includes policy development, operational delivery and advising Ministers. He is a recognised expert in designing and developing partnerships, and exploiting them to improve performance in law enforcement and crime reduction.

His last significant leadership role was as the very first chief executive to the London Criminal Justice Partnership from 2005 to 2011 where he designed and delivered the authoritative crime partnership arrangements for London, which in turn oversaw significant improvements in the timeliness and effectiveness of criminal justice.

Prior to this Andrew was a Senior Civil Servant with experience across the Home Office and Ministry of Justice where he held roles in policing, mental health, prisons and immigration. He currently advises government and public sector organisations in the Middle East. Andrew also chairs the Campus Educational Trust and is a senior visiting fellow at the Institute of Criminal Policy Research at Birkbeck College, University of London.
